This consultation is for parents who have concerns that haven’t been clearly recognised at school, who are advocating for their child, or who want help making sense of what they’re seeing.
During the session, we clarify patterns in your child’s learning, strengths and difficulties, and translate these into clear priorities, strategies to trial, and language you can use at home or in conversations with school.
A brief summary email is provided after the session.
Learning Skills Suitability Consult
This process supports families to decide whether a detailed learning assessment would meaningfully inform support at home and school.
We begin with a consult to understand your child’s learning experiences and identify what questions an assessment would help answer. If an assessment is appropriate, the process and timing are planned together.
